I see design as a way to solve real problems and make complex systems easier and more humane to navigate.

Hello! I’m Germaine.
With roots in service design and policy development, I now build digital products that serve people and communities better.

After a decade in the healthcare and public sector, I saw how even the best intentions can get lost in complexity — slow processes, tools that don’t fit real work, and people struggling to navigate the systems built to help them.

That experience sparked my transition into product design. I wanted to work closer to users, tackle real problems, and see the difference thoughtful design can make. In my work, I pay attention to the unseen interactions, operational realities, and emotional labour behind every system — finding where things break down and building solutions that bring meaningful improvements to the everyday systems that people rely on.
